The YES Fund (Youth, Education, and Special Projects) represents the collective financial efforts of WRJ members and donors throughout North America to strengthen the institutions of Reform/Progressive Judaism and ensure the future of Reform Jewish leadership. Together we are able to achieve what no one individual or sisterhood could accomplish alone. Through the YES Fund, WRJ is able to provide financial assistance to our rabbinical and cantorial students, our youth, and organizations throughout the Reform/Progressive Jewish Movement.
Contributions to the YES Fund are made in several ways:
• Direct cash contributions by individuals and sisterhoods
• Purchase by individuals and sisterhoods of YES Fund Uniongrams, greeting cards, and other merchandise
• Annual participation by individuals in the Circle of Service membership program
• Lifeline sponsorships made by individuals or other organizations which serve to build the YES Fund endowment
TKE-WRJ has supported the YES Fund each and every year in each of these ways:
• Roll of Honor contributors 2007-2008 indicating a $5/member cash contribution by TKE-WRJ
• Special Merit contributors 2008-2009 indicating a $10/member cash contribution by TKE-WRJ
• TKE-WRJ has completed a Silver Lifeline ($1000 contribution to the YES Fund endowment)
• TKE-WRJ is working on a Gold Lifeline ($5000 contribution to the YES Fund endowment) due to be completed in 2011/2012
• Annual YES Fund Luncheon promoting Circle of Service membership honoring a special TKE-WRJ member - 2009 honoree, Alison Schlenger
